Dear Brothers and Sisters, asalamu alaikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh

As you are all aware, the Jumua prayer at our mosque has been very crowded, People often had to prayer outside, sometimes in harsh weather. There was no place for the sisters to attend the Jumua in the mosque following the Imam. Many students often miss the Jumua due to conflicting class times.

In order to address some of these issues, the Executive Committee in consultation with Majlis Alshoura at ICB has decided to arrange for two Jumua prayers starting this week. Following are the details of the program:

First Khutba: 12.10 PM
2nd Khutba : 1.10 PM
Start date: Feb 6, 2009
Location: ICB mosque

PLEASE NOTE:

* The southern room and entrance is exclusively for sisters.

* The main mosque hall is exclusively for bothers using the western entrance.

* The wudu area attached to the main hall is the only one available to brothers. For your convenience, try to make wudu before heading out to the prayer.

* Brothers and sisters are encouraged to attend either Jumua prayers.

* If you attend the first Jumua prayer, please do not block entrances and walkways when you leave, and avoid loud gatherings around the mosque as to not disturb the second Jumua prayer.

* For the next a few weeks, we anticipate that the first Jumua prayer will be overcrowded on the brothers side until a balance is reached. As such, we would like to ask the brothers who are able to join the second Jumua prayer, to kindly do so.

* If your schedule does not allow you to attend the second Jumua prayer, please plan to arrive early to the first Jumua prayer in order to find a place in the hall.

* If you arrive late to the first Jumua prayer, please be advised that you might have to wait until the second Jumua prayer starts if there is no place inside the mosque.
